In North America during the 17th Century, Europeans and the Native Peoples . . .

Areas of Conflict

Various tribes and groups of settlers endured many hardships. Areas of conflict ranged from spread disease to warfare. The Native Americans and Colonial Americans fought for land and food. The Native Americans were forced to move around the country.

Areas of Cooperation

Even though Colonial and Native Americans faced many hardships, they somehow needed to survive. So yes, they did cooperate with each other. One example, that everybody knows, is Thanksgiving. They celebrated together,
